Body Building Diet -

The essentials to a body building diet:

Carbohydrates are the body’s main source of energy for all your muscular and bodily functions. Carbohydrates (found in rice, pasta, bread) are converted into sugar and are used as fuel for your body.  The left over carbohydrates that are not converted are stored in your muscles and liver, or are converted to fat which is stored in the body for later use.  Basically, the storage of fat is later reused as energy resulting in weight loss.

Fruits and sugars are a healthy and normal part of anyone’s diet.  For the purpose of a body building diet they should be excluded.  Fruits and sugars are high in calories and use little effort by the body for absorption.  They do next to nothing to stimulate your metabolism; which can result in the storage of fat.

Protein is extremely important in keeping yourself healthy and an intricate part of any diet.  It is the major material used for building muscles, skin, hair, nails and your internal organs.  Protein helps control your body’s metabolism and regulates water balance.  Its importance in preserving muscle tone and mass is truly remarkable.
